Marc Saint-Joy, Economist
 
Marc Saint-Joy began his professional career in Haiti where he directed the National Police Academy, and coordinated for over five years a nation-building project with the assistance of the United Nations, USA, France, Canada, and  organizations such as USAID, ICITAP, MICIVIH, and RCMP. He also wrote on the effects of economic sanctions on Haiti, and Haitian Police and democracy through the issuance of a directive titled: “A view on Police Training”. In 1998, he taught Macroeconomics and Microeconomics at University Caraibe in Haiti. His portfolio includes extensive experience in strategic planning, both on projects/proposals, and with regard to organizational and economic development. He devoted his international trade knowledge to assist entrepreneurs in Southern Haiti to gain a deeper understanding of the coffee trade and effective production planning. He also served as Technical Advisor to local entrepreneurs in the agro-industry in the Plaine region of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In 2003, he established Majoy Investments, and worked in the lending industry as an Associate for private investors and banks such as World Savings, US Mortgage Investments, MV Consultants, and Sunset Mortgage. Recently, Marc co-wrote on rebuilding the educational system in Haiti through a published report titled: Rebuilding Private Schools and Universities in Haiti (July 2010). He is an accomplished Economist trained at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, where he specialized in Regional Economic and Planning, Foreign Relations, Economic Development, and International Trade. He is fluent in English, French, Spanish, German and Creole.
 
 
Huswald Timothee, MBA
 
Huswald Timothee has worked with Majoy Capital since its formation, where he manages business development and acts as the liaison with brokers, International contractors and suppliers, and in particular, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), USAID, The World Bank, The United Nations, and the Government of Haiti. He possesses over 18 years of extensive and progressively strong responsible experience in Management, Analysis, Banking, Finance, International Relations with specific accomplishments in areas of operations, compliance,  client relations,  and sales and marketing . He began his professional career as a Sales & Service Associate to a Senior Money Transfer Specialist at BankBoston/Bank of America. He later served as a Credit Operations Specialist and Margin Analyst for broker-dealer firms, such as JW Genesis Securities, Wachovia Securities, and Investacorp, Inc./Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services. He also worked as a Consultant for small business firms, and served as Administrative Director for a leading private school in Haiti. Huswald co-wrote on rebuilding the educational system in Haiti through a published report titled: Rebuilding Private Schools and Universities in Haiti (July 2010). He attended the New England College of Finance in Boston, Massachusetts, where he later earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in General Management at Liberty University in Virginia, USA. He is fluent in English, French and Creole.
 
Daisy Kang
 
Mrs. Daisy Kang was born in S. Korea and started her career with Imagineering, a software distribution company founded by Jodee Rich in the early 1980s. It grew rapidly into a major company. Imagineering was sold to First Pacific in 1990. Graham Pickles, managing director of sister company Tech Pacific, took the helm of the group and merged the two businesses together under the Tech Pacific banner in 1990. The company was most famous for distributing of software from Lotus to Intel for the first time. Daisy served as Marketing Coordinator / Manager in charge of Marketing software such as Lotus 123, MS, Intel, 3Com among others and hardware in the Korean Market with sole distributorship, Software training for dealers / Education of dealers in marketing strategies / Creation of Marketing materials such as brochures, manuals, consumer education programs.
 
Daisy Kang facilitated communication between the Korean Office and the overseas H.Q.s. In 1989, Daisy moved to the Westinghouse nuclear power generation plant in Korea as an Executive Assistant to help Follow up/Translate for the staff of American Engineers in H.Q.s and the Korean staff. She also managed the day-to-day project operations and meetings.
 
From 1989- 1992 she work for the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) as a Marketing Manager / Director where she facilitated Hong Kong Trade to Oversea with varies Marketing strategies especially between Hong Kong and Korea. She Promoted Foreign Investment and Follow up on international project such as Incheon International Airport (ICN).
 
Acting as Hong Kong Government Representative in Korea, she lead/participate various meetings with high level Korean government officials. Daisy Kang supervised various marketing events and organized thirteen International Trade Shows annually. She also organized several Fashion Shows, Seminars with Gala shows for high level officials with Exclusive Promotion of Hong Kong products in Hyundai‘s Department store in Korea in collaboration with Hyundai Trading Co. In 1992, she joined Concept Marketing and Sales Ltd. as Marketing Director in charge of “New product development”. She was in control of Marketing using TV Commercial/Distribution, to Mass Market products and Maintain store display such as: Toys and decorative products in Price Club, Target, Home Depot, Sams Club and other stores. She managed the entire process: From concepts to final products, from purchasers meetings to product launching with design team. Mrs. Kang lead sales teams and dealer groups in the Central, North and South American, European Sector.
 
Daisy Kang holds an Undergraduate degree from Sookmyung Women’s University Consumer Economics from of Seoul Korea, a Graduate School from Yonsei University, Graduate School of Business in International Business Marketing and a Post Graduate from UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) in English and Marketing. She is fluent in English and Korean
 
 
 
Elizabeth Tovar Bordey
 
Elizabeth Tovar Bordey is a Special Consultant (Structured Finance) to Haiti Global Investments.  Mrs. Bordey is a seasoned financial and business expert who has owned and managed a wholesale import/export company in Port-au-Prince that traded cosmetics and household goods. Her past professional experience propelled her to become a viable and well-respected businesswoman in the commercial community.  She possesses an extensive background in the Garment/Textile industry, as she served as a Quality Control Manager for a leading manufacturing company in Haiti.  Elizabeth Bordey is a businesswoman, an interior designer, an artist, a philanthropist and is considered an inspirational figure to many of her peers. She has achieved success in her endeavors due to her tenacity, her creativity, and her hands-on approach to every task at hand. More importantly, she has always been recognized for her strong skills as a team player with colleagues and subordinates alike. She is fluent in English, French, and Creole.
